Special Events for Youth at Trinity
Each year the cathedral sponsors many events especially for young people Watch the Special Events Calendar for dates and times.
St. Nicholas Night :
The Sunday evening closest to St. Nicholas day. Youth make crafts and decorations for Christmas, participate in a St. Nicholas worship service, visit with St. Nicholas and share a simple supper.
Christmas Pageant :
The Youth Group presents a Nativity pageant at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Christmas Eve services.
Epiphany Pageant and Potluck :
All are invited to the Epiphany Pageant and Potluck January 6 at 6 p.m. Youth ages 2 to 18 present the pageant. A beautiful ending to the Holiday Season.
Easter Eggstravaganza and Pancake Breakfast:
For children 4th grade and younger. Easter activities like egg dyeing, guessing how many jelly beans, other games and of course the egg hunt. Bring your own basket! The breakfast is for the entire family.
Children's Ministry Faire:
Displays the activities available for youth and is an opportunity to sign up for Sunday School. It is usually in the fall.
Youth Sunday: An opportunity for youth to participate in all facets of the worship service.
Family Pumpkin Night:
This is an evening for families and children of all ages to get together have delicious pumpkin soup (and chicken noodle), carve a pumpkin and then process it into the church for a pumpkin lighting ceremony with songs and prayers. Costumes are encouraged!
All Saints Day Banner Procession : On the Sunday closest to All Saints Day. Youth process class made banners depicting saints into the cathedral.
