The Cathedral Choir
The Cathedral Adult Choir is a mixed-voice choir of volunteers and four choral scholars, and is open to experienced singers of High School age and older.
The choir emphasizes a high standard of singing within the classic Anglican tradition, and the choir's repertoire encompasses a large variety of music from
Renaissance, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods. The Cathedral Choir rehearses in the Cathedral each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm, and sings for the
11:15 am Sunday Eucharist, as well as Choral Evensong at 5:45 pm on the second Thursday of each month. The Cathedral Choir has made four tours of England, acting
as "choir-in-residence" at several of the great English Cathedrals. Our fifth Tour in August of 2003 included performances at Peterborough and Canterbury Cathedrals
and Westminster Abbey. A personal interview and simple audition is desired of new members, and may be scheduled by contacting the Canon for Music.
